About the position...

The Software Development Manager will be responsible for direct line management for a small team of developers. The team is dedicated to new feature development and web development and will work closely with the wider team of roughly 15 Developers.

  • You will be responsible for line management, professional and personal development of team members
  • Growth and expansion of skills within the team
  • Mentoring and coaching for technical excellence
  • Foster a culture of trust and respect within the teams
  • Reviewing current Agile processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Planning projects / roadmaps and facilitating successful delivery
  • Drive and motivate teams towards success
  • Facilitating technical steering committee
  • Communication with key internal stakeholders i.e. QA Manager, Product Managers and other leaders
Why you're a legend...
  • You will already possess proven experience in managing and motivating development teams to achieve goals and deadlines
  • Experience and good grasp of all aspects of the SDLC
  • Understanding of agile methodology and frameworks
  • Deeply passionate about software development
  • Experienced facilitator (Standups, Meetings, productivity, actions, outcomes)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are passionate, energetic, personable and committed to your career.
