About the position...

The Software Development Team Leader will be responsible for creating plans to convert product backlog into working software, hitting goals through facilitation of scrum, sprint planning and encouraging team collaboration. The team is dedicated to new feature development and web development and will work closely with the wider team of roughly 15 Developers.

  • You will be responsible for creating growth and expansion of skills within the team
  • Fostering collab and transparency of development processes.
  • Mentoring and coaching towards CI/CD, Unit testing, sound planning, tracking and estimation.
  • Foster a culture of trust and respect within the team.
  • Reviewing current Agile processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Drive and motivate teams towards success
  • Communication with key internal stakeholders i.e. Development Managers, QA Manager, Product Managers and other leaders.

  • You will already possess proven experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve goals and deadlines.
  • Experience and good grasp of all aspects of the SDLC.
  • Understanding of agile methodology and frameworks.
  • Deeply passionate about software development.
  • Experienced facilitator (Meetings, productivity, actions, outcomes).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are passionate, energetic, personable and committed to your career.
  • Experience with .NET development in either the Desktop or Web environment.
  • Deep knowledge of more than one of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap, Angular, C#, SQL Server or a thorough knowledge of .NET desktop software development methodologies. 
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns such as SoC, DI, MVC, MVVM or Micro-services.
