Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead / manage and mentor a highly skilled team at a strategic and operational level. You will ensure ongoing operational performance of the Applications team is met by developing, implementing and maintaining workforce and operational business plans.

 It will be your responsibly to ensure the impact of changes to any of the components supporting enterprise applications are understood and managed to maintain defined service levels. You will be responsible for the overall management of service restoration for major incidents. 

You will be required to:
  • Work collaboratively with business representatives and internal and external service providers.
  • Lead and manage the team's budget, including developing and contributing to, funding strategies and budget submissions.
  • Lead the proactive management of contracts, service and operating level agreements with internal and external service providers to ensure the delivery of defined service levels.
  • Provide expert advice on specific applications and their integration with the business and technical environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to write detailed briefing notes, negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions.
  • Lead, value diversity and cultural change management with varied backgrounds who can think differently and innovate.

 To be successful in this role you will show experience in managing applications and their integration with business requirements and technical environment in a large and complex service delivery environment. 

 Additionally, you will have highly developed interpersonal, written and oral communications as you will work collaboratively with business representatives and internal and external stakeholders.
