An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Senior Project Manager within the infrastructure arena. You will be responsible for leading and providing full project management lifecycle capability across the Infrastructure work programme. This will include critical maintenance work, managing up to 8 projects at one time.

The Infrastructure team currently manage 60 services, and it will be your responsibility to understand what the services are and the steps needed to be taken to improve. This could involve complete replacement of the services.

In this role you will be integral to:
  • Leading and providing full project management life cycle capability across the Infrastructure work programme.
  • Managing a portfolio of complex Infrastructure initiatives than span multiple groups.
  • Ensuring that the projects deliver on the project objective and meet key deliverables to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of scope, time and cost.
  • Reporting on project activities, risk and issues, and success.
  • Participating in establishing, improving project management practices to expand and mature these capabilities across the organisation
  • Other duties as required.
Relevant Project Management experience is crucial, especially experience gained in the Infrastructure domain. We are looking for a professional who wants to take ownership and responsibility of this role and make it their own.

You will also have experience in leading high performing project teams, including managing conflict and demonstrates ability to motivate and coach staff, whilst demonstrating experience in managing areas such as planning, reporting, presenting and resource management.
